Board of Directors
IOC is managed by a Board of Directors. There is no monetary compensation paid or required to serve on the Board. Board meetings are held every other month and are open to any member of a sponsoring faith community. The Board of Directors is comprised of committees to oversee various aspects of the operations of Interfaith Outreach of Carmel and Joining Hands Benefit Shop.

Captain Dan Bursch, USN (retired), is a former Naval Flight Officer and astronaut. He grew up in the Northeast and spent his summers as a child on Nantucket. His hobbies include working on cars, fixing anything and weaving lightship baskets.

Former small business owner who helped open Joining Hands Benefit shop. Served as a volunteer both in the shop and on the board of directors for 10 years. Worked as part time manager of Joining hands before taking the position of Executive Director.
